Chef Dan’s great grandmother immigrated to the United States from France as a personal chef for a prominent family. It is from her that Dan took his inspiration for the culinary arts and sparked his 17 year long career. Through her teachings, Chef Dan learned the importance of using fresh ingredients and acquired a respect for food quality.

Dan worked at various restaurants on Long Island before deciding to attend the New York Institute of Technology for Culinary Arts. Once he graduated he furthered his career by working for some of the most prominent Chef’s on Long Island. His background extends from a la carte restaurants, off premise caterers and a variety of other food establishments. He is a well rounded Chef with expertise in various styles and cuisines. Currently Chef Dan resides at Watermill Caterers, located in Smithtown, New York, as the Banquet Chef.
