Chef Greg has been cooking professionally for over 15 years. He started working in kitchens in 1991 starting as a dishwasher at Hot Wok Cafe in Chesterfield, MO. Eager to learn all he could he worked his way up becoming a prep cook working weekends while attending High School. He continued to work and learn in many restaurants through out MO. He then decided to move to New Orleans in 2002 and has never looked back. He has spent his time in New Orleans learning the ins and outs of the countries most exciting and unique cuisine and culinary traditions.     He loves making people happy by cooking for them, seeing the smiles of happy guests when they leave his restaurant. Greg's cooking style is comfort food while still focusing on traditional cooking styles and cultures. Growing up in the midwest, gave Greg a solid background of cooking meat and potatoes  which made him a perfect fit for Mr. Johns Steakhouse. Mr. Johns is considered to be a premier local Steakhouse in the New Orleans area. Feeding many local politicians and professional athletes.
