Growing up and coming from a very strong Italian background, food was always very important in my house, it was always home made and there was always plenty of it. I have been cooking for 20yrs. in places such as Peppercorns Restaurant in Hicksville, The Garden City Hotel, The California Grille In Glen Head, NY, The Westchester Country Club, The California Cafe in Roosevelt field Mall, Victory Smoke House Oyster Bar in Garden City. And now I have Owned and been the Executive Chef of Butterfields Restaurant in Hauppauge, since 2002. I graduated Culinary school from Johnson and Wales in Rhode Island in 1996. Major influences in my culinary career come from Executive Chef John Montgomery, Jeff Tantillo, and my Grandmother.
