Mohamed Khan started dabbling in his home kitchen at the age of nine. During his high school years, he attended a vocational culinary arts program and fell in love with food. Upon graduation he set out for Johnson and Whales University in Providence, RI where he obtained a B.S. in Culinary Arts. After completing his degree he continued his training to expand his knowledge from casual dining, corporate and private catering to five star dining. He started as a cook at 5 Diamond steak house, Seagars, in The Hilton Hotel in Saddestin, FL. From there he moved to Manhattan, NY to train at Asia de Cuba, Tasting Room, China Grill and ONO. Mohamed then decided to head back to his hometown in Long Island to work his way up from cook to chef. He landed Chef positions at Corbin & Reynolds, City Cellar, Onyx, Montego Bay Grill, Kasey’s. He has now found his home creating American cuisine as the Executive Chef of McQuade’s Neighborhood Grill in Lynbrook, NY.
