Grindavik, Iceland

Chef Doddi grew up in a small town outside of Reykjavik, Iceland and like most young men from Grindavik he spent a few years on a fishing boat where he learned the trade of catching fish in the North Atlantic. After seven years on the fishing boat he decided he wanted to become a chef and started at the Hotel and Veitingaskolinn, Reykjavik, Iceland, graduating in 2008. He did his training at the Grill Restaurant, Hotel Saga, Iceland and is now working as a chef at Lava Restaurant at the Blue Lagoon, Iceland.
