Alberto Parra came to the US from Ecuador at the young age of 18. His first culinary job was at his Godfather's Ecuadorian-American cuisine restaurant in Brooklyn. From there he knew he was meant to work in the kitchen. He went on to hone his culinary skills at The Brunette in Williamsburg, NY then to Molyvos - a Greek American restaurant. He then got the chance to learn the art of Italian cooking at Osteria Stella. No matter what the cuisine, each chef always stressed the same type of cooking principals. As Alberto continues his culinary career, he strives to learn all that he can from each and every chef. Alberto hopes to some day take his culinary knowledge and open a fine dining Latin-Fusion restaurant.
