Chef Jamie Grider's love of food started at an early age while helping his mother prepare evening dinner. He started his professional career at Leventi's Restaurant in 1987. Since then, he has graduated Johnson & Wales University and expanded his culinary knowledge cooking along the coast of Southern New England. Currently, he is the Executive Chef at the Wilcox Tavern in Charlestown, RI, a historic colonial restaurant that has been open since 1730. Chef Jamie identifies his cuisine as a "simple elegance" focusing on native seafood and fresh local produce.
