Chef Jose Bizarroque native of Boliva, was born into the restaurant business, his parents owned a successful restaurant. Fully aware of all the challenges in the business he decided as a young man in his twenties that he wanted to follow his parents footsteps and become a chef. He moved to New Jersey and worked with his mentor Chef Mario Macre at the Chandelier, Bayonne, NJ. Chef Macre taught him the secrets of Italian cooking. Chef Jose Bizarroque was presented with an opportunity to work at the Sycamore Grill in Atlanta, GA and he packed his bags and headed South where he stayed for couple of years. In 2004 he moved back to New Jersey and he took a job at the Pointe Restaurant where he still is. Chef Jose Bizarrogue loves the fast pace environment and wouldn't want to be doing anything else.
