Joseph Caccamise was raised in the small town of LeRoy, NY into a fairly large family of four. It was at the early age of fourteen when Joseph was first introduced into the culinary trade at Creekside Inn. Joseph began as a dishwasher and quickly made his way to line cook.
Joseph went on to earn his culinary degree from Erie Community College and later studied food and nutrition at Buffalo State College. During this time Joseph maintained a full time position as a Sous Chef at Romanellos South in Hamburg NY. At the early age of twenty-one Joseph took an Executive Chef position at Panos Restaurant in the heart of the city of Buffalo. It was there where he put all of his creativity and culinary education into practice.
From there Joseph went on and accepted a sauté position at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford, Ny. Joseph quickly moved up the ranks and was promoted to Chef d’Cuisine and the responsibility for all formal dining in the club.
As Sous Chef at Cobblestone Creek Country Club, Joseph is looking forward to raising dining expectations for all the members. When Joseph is not cooking, he loves spending time with his fiancee and preparing meals for his family and friends.
