I went to New England Culinary Institute in 1985 and have been a Chef for over 25 years, working in all capacities. I owned my own restaurant, worked as Executive Chef in several different restaurants and catering companies. I was the Executive Chef at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center where I was in charge of several operations which included feeding many famous entertainers from Frank Sinatra to Marilyn Manson. We also catered events from 10 to 3000. I then moved to Pa. to find work that would give me more time with my family. I worked as Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant The Dilworthtown Inn, then working as the Executive Chef helped open The Gables in Chadds Ford. Then worked with Renowned French Chef George Perrier as Saucier. I started working crazy hours again and took a Corporate Chef job for Sodexho, which allowed me to spend more time with my family. I now have my own business. November 2008 I opened a small gourmet shop, Chefs' Haven, where I carry kitchen tools and hard to find ingredients, and I also teach cooking classes.
