Chef Sigurros Palsdottir lives in Iceland, where she started her culinary career working as an intern at Hotel Borg, a 5 star hotel in Reykjavik, Iceland. From there she continued her internship working at Einar Ben, a well know restaurant in Reykjavik, named after an Icelandic writer. While working as an intern Chef Sigurros also completed her formal culinary schooling in Iceland. She finished her 4 year long internship in Copenhagen, Denmark at a five star restaurant called Krogs Fiskerestaurant and graduated from Hotel og restaurantskolen i Copenhavn.
After her graduation she moved to Milan, Italy and worked for Signor Pietro Leeman at a one Michelin star restaurants called Joia. She stayed there for 8 months enjoying both the work and the Italian way of life. She then decided to open her own catering business in Milan, Italy. After a few years she decided to move to her home country, Iceland, where she has worked for 2 years at Vox one of Reykjavik's best restaurants. Chef Sigurros has spent the last year designing the organic menu that you can find at Lifandi Markadur in Reykjavik, Iceland.
