Serve this delicious topping hot over pancakes, ice cream, crepes, or your favorite dessert. You can put sauce in a container and store it in your fridge. If you do not have fresh blueberries, you can use frozen. Keep in mind frozen will give off more liquid.


  • 1  Cup(s) Fresh Blueberries

  • 1/4  Cup(s) Water
  • 2
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Sugar
  • 3
  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Butter
  • 4
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Blue Agave Syrup (Optional)

    1. In a nonstick frying pan, melt butter
    2. When butter is melted, add the blueberries
    3. Mix together with butter and cook for around 1-2 minutes while stirring
    4. Add water, sugar, and syrup and Mix well, let it come to a slow simmer
    5. Cook for around 2 minutes or until some of the liquid is evaporated
    6. Mix occasionally while cooking, be careful not to burn
    7. There should be enough liquid left to form a syrup
