Blueberry Sauce or Syrup

Description
Serve this delicious topping hot over pancakes, ice cream, crepes, or your favorite dessert. You can put sauce in a container and store it in your fridge. If you do not have fresh blueberries, you can use frozen. Keep in mind frozen will give off more liquid.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup(s) Fresh Blueberries
- 1/4 Cup(s) Water
- 1/4 Cup(s) Sugar
- ½ Tea Spoon(s) Butter
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Blue Agave Syrup (Optional)
Directions
- In a nonstick frying pan, melt butter
- When butter is melted, add the blueberries
- Mix together with butter and cook for around 1-2 minutes while stirring
- Add water, sugar, and syrup and Mix well, let it come to a slow simmer
- Cook for around 2 minutes or until some of the liquid is evaporated
- Mix occasionally while cooking, be careful not to burn
- There should be enough liquid left to form a syrup
