Description

This Chocolate Torte is a no bake cake recipe, just stick in the Refrigerator. It is also gluten free, flour free and the ingredients are healthy, imagine that for a cake!


Ingredients

  • 1 2/3  Cup(s) Pecans
  • 1
  • 3/4  Cup(s) Dates
  • 2
  • 3/4  Cup(s) Coconut, shredded
  • 3
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Coconut Oil
  • 4
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Cocoa Powder
  • 5
  • ¼  Tea Spoon(s) Salt
  • 6

Directions

     

    1. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until fine
    2. Moisten the baking form (ring shape 22 cm) with coconut oil.
    3. Add the moist crust to the form and press down using your fingers
    4. Pour filling into crust
    5. Using a rubber spatula, spread out evenly
    6. Refrigerate for 2 hours
    7. Cut around edges to loosen up then remove from pan
    8. Serve torte with fresh raspberries and whipped cream

     

    Filling for Chocolate Torte

    Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 Cup(s) Cashew Nuts, soaked in water for 6-8 hours
  • 3/4 Cup(s) Cocoa Powder
  • 3/4 Cup(s) Water
  • 3/8 Cup(s) Coconut Oil
  • 100 Tea Spoon(s) Agave Syrup
  • 1 Tea Spoon(s) Vanilla
  • ¼ Tea Spoon(s) Salt
  • Directions

    1. Strain cashews of all liquid
    2. Blend all ingredients until smooth
    3. Pour filling into crust
