Cranberry Walnut Bread Pudding

Description
Authentic Louisiana style bread pudding with Southern Comfort, cranberries and walnuts! Chef James, a real southern shows you step by step how to make this sweet and delicious bread pudding.
Ingredients
- 1 Each White Bread Loaf (day old Bread is fine)
- 1/3 Cup(s) Butter, melted
- 1 Cup(s) Cranberries, dried
- 1 Cup(s) Walnuts
- As Needed Custard
- As Needed Topping
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Cut bread into small cubes and place into a large bowl
- Add melted butter and mix to combine
- Place the buttered bread cubes onto a cookie sheet and spread out evenly
- Bake for 10 minutes or until crispy
- Add walnuts, cranberries and custard to the bread crumbs and mix well
- Let sit for 20 minutes
- Lower oven to 375 degrees
- Once the bread has absorbed the custard, place it into a buttered baking pan and Bake for 30 minutes
- While the bread pudding is hot, spread the topping over it
- Let sit for 30 minutes to cool
- Serve and enjoy!

- 2 Table Spoon(s) Butter, melted
- 3 Tea Spoon(s) Southern Comfort
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Pure Vanilla Extract
- ¼ Table Spoon(s) Whole Milk
- Mix together confectioners sugar, walnuts, melted butter, vanilla, Southern Comfort and milk

- 1/2 Cup(s) Butter, melted
- 1 Cup(s) Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 Cup(s) Southern Comfort
- ⅛ Tea Spoon(s) Cinnamon
- 2 ½ Tea Spoon(s) Pure Vanilla Extract
- Whisk milk, eggs, sugar, butter, Southern Comfort, cinnamon and vanilla extract together
