Description

Guillemot is an Icelandic seacoast bird but this recipe is cooked with an Indian twist.


Ingredients

  • 1  Each Guillemot
  • 1
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Ginger/Garlic Paste (equal volume of each)
  • 2
  •  Pinch Salt
  • 3
  •  Pinch Garam Masala (sweet)
  • 4
  • ½  Each Lemon Juice, fresh
  • 5
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Mustard Oil
  • 6

Directions

    1. Place Guillemot on a hot frying pan with a little bit of mustard oil
    2. Cook each side for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes
    3. Take meat of the pan and rest for 2 minutes
    4. Plate and serve!

    Sukhi Bhaji (Seasoned Potatoes)

    Ingredients

  • 2 Tea Spoon(s) Mustard Oil
  • Pinch Cumin Seeds
  • Pinch Mustard Seeds
  • 2 Each Curry Leaves
  • 1 Cup(s) Potatoes, steamed and cubed
  • 2/3 Cup(s) Peas
  • 1/4 Cup(s) Water
  • To Taste Salt
  • Directions

    1. Heat spices on a hot frying pan with a touch of mustard oil
    2. Add peas and potatoes to the pan and stir
    3. Add small amount of water to the mix and let simmer until water evaporates

    Sauce

    Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Cup(s) Cream
  • 1 Tea Spoon(s) Tomato paste
  • 1 Tea Spoon(s) Ketchup
  • Pinch Curry Powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • Directions

    1. Pour cream into a small pot and heat on low heat
    2. Add all ingredients to the cream and stir
    3. Simmer for about 10 minutes or until thick
