A Japenese omelette is very different from a regular omelette. In order to make this the right way, you will need a Japanese Omelette Pan.


  • 4  Each Eggs, beaten
  • 1
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Dashi
  • 2
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Mirin
  • 3
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Sake
  • 4
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Vegetable Oil
  • 5


    1. Mix together dashi, sake and mirin
    2. Add to eggs and Mix together
    3. Heat a Japanese omelette pan, add oil to pan and coat evenly
    4. Add a 1/4 of egg mixture to pan
    5. Halfway through cooking, roll into one log and place to end
    6. Add another 1/4 of egg mixture to pan and repeat process
    7. Repeat this step until all egg mixture is gone
    8. Remove from pan, slice and serve
