Description

If you love mangos and pomegranate then this recipe by Chef Sigurros is for you. She may be in Iceland but with this recipe she makes you feel like you are eating a fresh delicious salsa in the Caribbean.


Ingredients

  • 1  Each Mango, ripe
  • 1
  • 1/8  Cup(s) Shallots or red onion, finely chopped
  • 2
  • 1  Each Red Chili, finely chopped
  • 3
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Lemon juice
  • 4
  • 1  Each Pomegrante or (150 ml)
  • 5
  • 3/8  Cup(s) Coriander, roughly chopped
  • 6
  •  Pinch Salt
  • 7

Directions

    1. Cut the mango into ½ inch cubes
    2. Chop the chili, shallots and coriander (Cilantro)
    3. Mix everything together in a bowl, season with sea salt, and if the fruits are sour you can season with a little bit of maple syrup.
