Description

"Pasta of the Devil." A spicy tomato sauce tossed with angel hair pasta.


Ingredients

  • 4  Table Spoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 1
  • 1  Each Small Onion, diced
  • 2
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Garlic, minced
  • 3
  • 2  Cup(s) Tomato Concasse
  • 4
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Red Pepper Flakes
  • 5
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Water
  • 6
  •  As Needed Salt
  • 7
  • 1/2  Pound(s) Angel Hair Pasta, cooked until al dente
  • 8
  •  As Needed Parmigiano Reggiano, grated (for garnish)

Directions

    1. Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat
    2. Add onions and cook until soft, about 4 - 5 minutes
    3. Add garlic and tomato concasse, stir to incorporate
    4. Add red pepper flakes
    5. Turn heat up and let tomatoes cook down for about 5 - 6 minutes
    6. Add water and let cook for about 1 minute or until simmering
    7. Season with salt
    8. Add pasta and toss to incorporate
    9. Garnish with Parmigiano Reggiano
    *If sauce needs a bit more liquid, add a little pasta water to sauce
