Sage and Lemon Butter

Description
A compound butter with a lot of flavor! Also great for stuffing chicken, hamburgers, or rubbing on the skin of any meat.
Ingredients
- 2 Each Sticks of Butter, softened
- 3 Table Spoon(s) Sage, finely chopped
- 2 Tea Spoon(s) Garlic, minced
- 2 Tea Spoon(s) Shallot, minced
- ½ Each Lemon, zested
- 3 Pinch Salt and Pepper
Directions
- Place butter into stand mixer and mix, (you can also do this by hand if you do not have a stand mixer)
- After mixing is complete, scrape off the sides with a rubber spatula
- Add sage, garlic and shallots to butter
- Add lemon zest and mix again, ensure all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated
- Place butter on wax paper and roll into a log and refrigerate or freeze until needed
