Sausage Stuffing

Description
This Sausage Stuffing recipe is a great stuffing for a turkey for your next Sunday family meal or for those special holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. It can also be served as a side dish with your everyday meals.
Ingredients
- 1/4 Cup(s) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Pound(s) Italian Sweet Sausage
- 1 Pound(s) White Bread, cubed, toasted
- 1 Cup(s) Celery, diced
- 1 Cup(s) Onions, diced
- 4 Ounce(s) Weight Butter
- 4 Cup(s) Turkey or Chicken Stock
- To Taste Fresh Sage
- To Taste Fresh Thyme
- To Taste Salt
- To Taste Pepper
Directions
- Remove sausage from casings
- In a hot saute pan, add olive oil and heat on medium high
- Once butter is melted, add sausage to pan and break up
- Let brown in pan for about 2 minutes
- Once browned, add onion and celery
- Season with salt, pepper, thyme and sage
- Add stock and reduce down for 3 - 4 minutes
- Turn off flame and add cubed bread
- Mix well to combine
- Taste and Season if necessary
- Serve and enjoy!
