Description

This recipe for sautéed shrimp with mixed greens is a light and healthy dish that you can make as light dinner or an appetizer. Dress with some olive oil or try one of our suggested dressings!


Ingredients

  • ½  Each Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1
  • 1/8  Cup(s) Onion Seeds
  • 2
  • 10  Each Shrimp, large
  • 3
  • 1  Cup(s) Mixed Greens
  • 4
  •  Pinch Salt
  • 5
  •  Pinch Pepper
  • 6
  •  To Taste Cilantro, chopped
  • 7
  •  As Needed Olive Oil
  • 8
  •  Pinch Chili Powder
  • 9

Directions

    1. Marinate shrimp with onion seeds and olive oil for at least two hours
    2. Saute red onion until translucent
    3. Add shrimp to the pan
    4. Once shrimp is half way cooked (about 1-1/2 minutes) add the greens
    5. Season with salt and pepper
    6. Add a pinch of chili pepper and mix
    7. Add cilantro
    8. Season to taste
    9. Serve and enjoy!
