Description

"Aglio e Olio" - a traditional sauce made by lightly sautéing garlic in olive oil and parsley then tossed in angel hair pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1/2  Pound(s) Angel Hair Pasta, cooked until al dente
  • 1
  • 3  Each Shrimp, grilled
  • 2
  • 6  Table Spoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 3
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Garlic, minced
  • 4
  • 4  Table Spoon(s) Tomatoes, oven dried
  • 5
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Parsley, finely chopped
  • 6
  •  As Needed Balsamic Reduction (optional)
  • 7
  •  As Needed Parmesan Cheese (for garnish)

Directions

    1. Heat olive oil in a pan
    2. Add garlic and mix around being careful not to burn
    3. Add oven dried tomatoes and chopped parsley
    4. Toss to incorporate ingredients
    5. Add pasta and season to taste
    6. Plate up pasta and top with shrimp
    7. Drizzle with balsamic reduction (optional)
    8. Garnish with parmesan cheese

    Grilled Shrimp

    Ingredients

  • 1 Table Spoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup(s) White Wine
  • ½ Table Spoon(s) Garlic, minced
  • 1 Table Spoon(s) Chives, minced
  • 1 Table Spoon(s) Parsley, finely chopped
  • Directions

    1. Toss shrimp with ingredients and marinate for up to 5 hours
    2. Grill shrimp about 2 minutes on each side
