Description

Chef Johnny Vee's football season appetizer recipe, Smoked Shrimp and Artichoke Dip. Great party favorite and it's carb free!


Ingredients

  • 1  Cup(s) Artichoke Heart, diced
  • 1
  • 1  Cup(s) Shrimp, finely chopped
  • 2
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Mayonnaise
  • 3
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Sour Cream
  • 4
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 5
  •  Pinch Spanish Paprika
  • 6
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Hot Sauce
  • 7
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Chives for garnish, chopped

Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
    2. Using a oven smoker, place the wood chips on the bottom then lay the artichokes and shrimp on top and slide on the lid closed
    3. Let it smoke for 6 minutes
    4. Remove the artichokes and shrimp from the smoker and chop them up
    5. In a baking dish, mix the chopped artichokes, shrimp and the rest of the ingredients
    6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
    7. Serve with crackers and/or baguettes
