Description

This delicious Chocolate Mousse has a rich chocolate flavor and is light and airy with a velvety smooth texture. You and your guests will love it.


Ingredients

  • 10 7/8  Ounce(s) Weight Chocolate, 70%
  • 1
  • 2  Each Egg whites
  • 2
  • 4 1/8  Ounce(s) Weight Sugar
  • 3
  • 7 1/8  Ounce(s) Weight Butter, room temperature
  • 4
  • 10 1/4  Ounce(s) Weight Heavy cream
  • 5
  • 6  Each Egg yolks
  • 6

Directions

     

    1. Start by melting chocolate in a double boiler.
    2. Whisk egg whites to a soft peak.
    3. When egg whites become lightly frothy add sugar.
    4. Whisk cream to soft peak.
    5. Mix butter into chocolate.
    6. Add egg yolks to chocolate and Mix well.
    7. Now add chocolate to the egg whites and Mix.
    8. Fold whipped cream with chocolate mixture.
    9. When completely mixed place mixture in to a container lined with plastic film.
    10. Cool in fridge for at least 3 hours.
    11. Cut into serving size portions and enjoy.
    12. This chocolate mousse goes great with ice-cream and fruit reduction.
