Sushi is all about the seasoned rice!
Cup(s) Japanese Short Grain Rice
- Add kelp on top of rice before cooking rice
- Steam rice for 10 minutes
- Transfer the cooked rice into a wooden bowl, remove the kelp
- Remove kelp from sushi vinegar, quickly fold in sushi vinegar with rice
- Let rice cool as quickly as possible to get shiny
- Cover the rice with a damp cloth
