Texas Style Pinto Beans

Description
These down South slow cooked beans are so easy to make and delicious. Goes perfectly with Chef Rick's chicken!
Ingredients
- 2 Cup(s) Dry Pinto Beans
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Black Pepper
- 2 Table Spoon(s) Kosher Salt
- 1 Each Medium Onion, chopped
- 1/4 Pound(s) Salt Pork or Bacon, chopped
- 2 Each Pickled Jalepenos, whole
- 2 Quart(s) Water
- 1 Each Garlic Clove (optional)
Directions
- In a pot on low to medium heat, add all ingredients
- Cook for 3 to 4 hours, until beans are soft to the touch
- Serve beans using a slotted spoon to remove excess liquid
