Description

Chef Songsorn's fresh Thai papaya salad recipe is so refreshing and healthy, great for a summer day.


Ingredients

  • 1/2  Cup(s) Papaya
  • 1
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Carrot
  • 2
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Palm sugar
  • 3
  • 5  Each Garlic cloves
  • 4
  • 2  Each Thai chili
  • 5
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Fish sauce
  • 6
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Lime juice
  • 7
  • 5  Each Green beans
  • 8
  • 5  Each Tomatoes
  • 9
  • 5  Each Crispy pork pieces
  • 10
  •  Pinch Dried shrimp
  • 11
  •  Pinch Roast peanuts
  • 12

Directions

    1. Peel the papaya.
    2. Next take a knife and score the papaya by chopping into it.
    3. Then use you peeler to slice papaya into strips.
    4. Take the carrot and slice into strips.
    5. In a mortar add the palm sugar and mash until it becomes a bit liquidity.
    6. Then add the garlic, chili and smash.
    7. Next add fish sauce, lime juice, papaya and carrot strips into the mortar and toss.
    8. Then add green beans, tomatoes, crispy pork, dried shrimp and roasted peanuts.

    * Watch the chili, if you like it spicy add more.
