An upside-down apple tart with caramelized apples in butter and sugar then served with a beautiful rose simple syrup and homemade whipped cream. Truly wow your guests by plating the tatin the same way Carlo does in this video.

Each Puff Pastry Sheet, 10" (defrosted if frozen)

As Needed Rose Simple Syrup

Directions
- Peel and core apples, reserve the peel and cores for the simple syrup
- Slice apples into desired size
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Heat a nonstick skillet on medium heat
- Add butter and let melt
- Once butter is melted, add apples
- Add sugar and cinnamon and toss to combine
- Let apples caramelize in sugar and butter
- Once apples are caramelized, place dough right on top of apples in skillet
- With a knife, make a sliver in the middle of the dough
- Bake in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes until pastry is golden brown
- Remove from oven and let cool for 1 hour
- Once tart has cooled, place skillet back onto a medium low flame and heat quickly until tart has loosened from pan
- Place a plate over the skillet and flip skillet over to remove tart
- Slice tart into 8 pieces
- Serve with rose simple syrup and whipped cream
