Description

A sweet and savory dipping sauce for chicken, beef or shrimp. Great tossed with Chef Saul's fried calamari or use as a dipping sauce with Chef Saul's Chicken Dumplings


Ingredients

  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Ginger, minced
  • 1
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Garlic, minced
  • 2
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Soy Sauce
  • 3
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 4
  • 1/8  Cup(s) Sherry Wine
  • 5
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Honey
  • 6
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Sugar
  • 7
  • ½  Table Spoon(s) Sesame Oil
  • 8
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Corn Starch
  • 9
  • 1  Fluid ounce(s) Water
  • 10

Directions

    1. In a saute pan over high heat, add ingredients and mix to incorporate.
    2. Bring to a boil then lower heat to simmer.
    3. Let simmer and finish with corn starch and water.
    4. Bring back to a boil then remove from heat.
