Description

This is the perfect vegan dish. Sweet BBQ Tofu on a bed of Sweet and Sour Braised Napa Cabbage with yellow raisins.


Ingredients

  • 6  Ounce(s) Weight Tofu, extra firm
  • 1
  • 3  Cup(s) Napa Cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 2
  • 3  Table Spoon(s) Golden Raisins
  • 3
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) White Vinegar
  • 4
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Vegetable Oil
  • 5
  •  To Taste Salt & Pepper
  • 6
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Barbecue Sauce, bottled

Directions

    1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a hot pan, add cabbage and cook for 3 minutes
    2. Add raisins, vinegar and some salt & pepper and cook until soft
    3. Heat the rest of the oil in a nonstick pan
    4. Season tofu and place in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides
    5. Remove tofu from pan and dress with barbecue sauce
    6. Place cabbage on a plate and top with the tofu
