Description

Cherry tomatoes and red onions tossed in olive oil and balsamic vinegar and seasoned on top of delicious charred Italian bread.


Ingredients

  • 2  Each Italian or Panella Bread, cut on a bias 1/2" thick
  • 1
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Cherry Tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 2
  • 2  Each Black Olives
  • 3
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Red Onion, diced
  • 4
  •  To Taste Salt & Pepper
  • 5
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 6
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Balsamic Vinegar
  • 7
  • 1  Each Basil Leaf, chiffonade
  • 8
  • ½  Each Garlic Clove, minced
  • 9
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Butter

Directions

    1. Butter both sides of bread and place it on a hot grill
    2. grill until charred on both sides
    3. In a mixing bowl, add tomatoes, red onion, black olives, salt, pepper, garlic and basil
    4. Coat with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and mix
    5. Place bread on plate and lay your ingredients on top, enjoy!
