Description

Savoury garlic scented stilton cheese sauce with hints of undertone earthy herbs.


Ingredients

  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Onion, minced
  • 2
  • 4  Each Garlic Cloves, roasted
  • 3
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Rosemary
  • 4
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Thyme
  • 5
  • 1/3  Cup(s) White Wine
  • 6
  • 1  Quart(s) Heavy Cream
  • 7
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Butter
  • 8
  • 1  To Taste Salt and Pepper
  • 9
  • 2  Each Bay Leaves
  • 10
  • 8  Ounce(s) Weight Stilton Blue Cheese

Directions

    1. Saute onion, garlic and herbs for 2-3 minutes, add bay leaves and rosemary sprig
    2. Add wine and reduce by half
    3. Add cream and reduce by half
    4. Remove the bay leaves and rosemary sprig
    5. Whisk in the cheese and remove from the stove
    6. Finish with butter, roasted garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper
    7. Taste adjust and serve
