Chayote and jicama salad with watercress, orange supremes, and sliced apples. This is a delicious and different salad that is tasty and refreshing. Stack it high and let your friends and family enjoy.


Ingredients

  • 1  Each Chayote, peeled
  • 1
  • 2/3  Cup(s) Jicama, julienne

  • 2/3  Cup(s) Watercress
  • 3
  • 1  Each Apple, sliced thin

  • 1  Each Orange, Supreme (cut between the membrane)

  • 4  Table Spoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 6
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Lemon Juice, Fresh

  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Orange Juice, Fresh

  •  As Needed Salt and Pepper

  • 3  Table Spoon(s) Pistachios, chopped

  • 3  Table Spoon(s) Almonds, sliced

Directions

    1. Slice the Chayote paper thin on a mandoline.
    2. Add all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
    3. Taste and season if necessary.
    4. When plating stack all ingredients in a tower and top with pistachio and almonds.
