Description

These Light and Easy Chicken Burgers are packed with Southwestern flavor. Do them on the grill or in a pan, your friends will love them.


Ingredients

  • 1  Cup(s) Red Onion, small dice
  • 1
  • 1  Cup(s) Cilantro, rough chop
  • 2
  • 2  Each Eggs
  • 3
  • 1 1/2  Pound(s) Ground Chicken Thigh Meat
  • 4
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Salt
  • 5
  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Pepper
  • 6
  • 3/4  Cup(s) Cracker Crumbs
  • 7
  •  As Needed Red Leaf Lettuce (optional)
  • 8
  •  As Needed Guacamole (optional)
  • 9
  • 6  Each Brioche Buns (if available)

Directions

    1. Add onions, cilantro, eggs, crackers, salt, pepper and chicken to a bowl and mix well
    2. Form into desired size and grill or sear in a pan
    3. grill each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown
    4. Finish in a 350 degree oven for 8 minutes or until burgers are cooked through
    5. Top with anything you desire and serve on a bun or on top of a salad

Great healthy recipe!

I was looking for a meal my kids would enjoy that was a bit healthy, and Chef Johnathan's Cilantro burgers were perfect. My kids loved them!
