Description

A yeast dough rolled up with cinnamon and brown sugar then baked in the oven and topped with cream cheese icing.


Ingredients

  • 2 ½  Tea Spoon(s) Yeast
  • 1
  • 1  Cup(s) Warm Milk (110-115 degrees)
  • 2
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Sugar
  • 3
  • 1/3  Cup(s) Butter, melted
  • 4
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Salt
  • 5
  • 2  Each Eggs
  • 6
  • 4  Cup(s) Flour
  • 7

Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
    2. Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk
    3. Add the sugar, salt, eggs and 1 cup of flour, whisk to combine
    4. Slowly add the remaining flour to create a tacky dough
    5. Knead on the counter until dough springs back when touched
    6. Cover and let rest for 10 min
    7. Roll dough into a 21" x 16" rectangle
    8. Spread butter over dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture
    9. Roll into a pinwheel and cut every 2"
    10. Stand them on their side and flatten to form the bun
    11. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
    12. Let buns cool and cover with icing
    13. Enjoy!
