Great batter for hot dogs, sausage or even lobster. Very quick and easy.

Ingredients

• 3  Cup(s) Yellow Corn Meal

• 1 1/2  Cup(s) Flour, All Purpose

• 1  Tea Spoon(s) Baking Soda

• ¾ three_quaters Tea Spoon(s) Salt

• 1  Table Spoon(s) Sugar

• ¼ one_quater Tea Spoon(s) White Pepper

• 4  Each Hot Dogs

• 2  Quart(s) Neutral Oil, for frying

• 1  Each Egg

• 1 1/2  Cup(s) Buttermilk or Whole Milk

• 1  Cup(s) Flour (for dredging)

Directions

1. In a mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients together: cornmeal, flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, white pepper
2. In another bowl, whisk together egg with buttermilk
3. Combine wet and dry ingredients together
4. Skewer hotdog
5. Dredge hotdog in flour, shaking off excess
6. Coat in corn dog batter
7. Slowly place corn dog into hot oil
8. Fry in 360 degrees oil for 2 - 3 minutes or until golden brown
