Crab Cakes

Description
This is an easy and delicious Crab Cake that every one loves. This Crab Cake is baked not fried so it is more convenient and cleaner to make in a home kitchen.
Ingredients
- 1 Pound(s) Jumbo Lump Crab Meat
- 4 Fluid ounce(s) Basil Aioli
- 2 Fluid ounce(s) Mayonnaise
- 1 Fluid ounce(s) Lemon Juice, fresh
- 8 Each White bread slices (cubed)
- 1 Each Egg
- ½ Tea Spoon(s) Tobasco Sauce
- 1 Tea Spoon(s) Fresh Thyme, chopped fine
- 1 Pinch Black Pepper, freshly ground
- ¼ Tea Spoon(s) Kosher Salt, taste and adjust
- ½ Tea Spoon(s) Fresh Thyme, fine chop
Directions
- Place crab meat in bowl with all ingredients except for the egg
- Mix well but be gentle not to break up big pieces of crab
- Taste and adjust seasoning
- Mix in the egg
- Mix well
- To test seasoning, cook a a little piece then taste and adjust seaoning
- Portion cakes to desired size
- Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown
- Serve with Basil Aioli
