Description

Dumplings made of flour and water then boiled with green bananas. Delicious, serve with a fish dish like Ackee and Salt Fish.


Ingredients

  • 2  Cup(s) Flour
  • 1
  • 1  Cup(s) Water
  • 2
  • 3  Each Bananas, peeled and cut in half
  • 3
  • 1  Pinch Salt
  • 4

Directions

    1. In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt and gradually add water, mixing together with your hands
    2. mix in a circular motion until a dough is formed
    3. Roll dough into small balls then flatten each ball to form a dumpling
    4. Add dumplings to a pot of salted boiling water then add bananas
    5. Let cook for 30 minutes
    6. Remove dumplings and bananas from water and plate up
