Easy Sweet and Sour Sauce

Description
A simple sauce made with sesame oil, garlic, ketchup, sugar and vinegar. Great to use as a dip for fried wontons, dumplings or egg rolls.
Ingredients
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Garlic, minced
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Sesame Oil
- 2 Table Spoon(s) Ketchup
- 1 Tea Spoon(s) Vinegar
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Sugar
- ¼ Cup(s) Water
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Corn Starch
Directions
- In a saute pan, heat sesame oil
- Add garlic and saute until just lightly golden
- Add ketchup, vinegar and sugar
- In a cup, mix together water with corn starch until corn starch is completely dissolved to make a slurry
- Add the slurry to the saute pan and mix until combined and sauce is thickened
- Taste and season if necessary
