Description

Rolled Puff Pastry Dough with sugar rolled into a decorative shape. Baked until cookies are golden brown with caramelized sugar. Easy to make and delicious to eat. You can also turn this cookie into a savory hors d'ouevres by replacing the sugar with your favorite herbs!


Ingredients

  • 1  Each Puff Pastry Sheet, defrosted
  • 1
  • 1  As Needed Sugar
  • 2

Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
    2. Liberally sprinkle sugar on a clean surface
    3. Lay pastry sheet on top
    4. Sprinkle sugar on top of pastry sheet
    5. Fold each side on the wider side in until both sides meet in the middle
    6. Push together both ends to tighten
    7. Cut into 1/2" thick slices and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet atleast 2" apart
    8. Bake for 18 - 20 minutes, half way through rotate pan and flip cookies to caramelize both sides evenly
    9. Let cool
