Portobello mushrooms grilled and topped with mozzarella. A nice and healthy summer appetizer.


  • 1  Each Portabella Mushrooms
  • 1
  • 2  Each Mozzarella Slices
  • 2
  •  To Taste Red Pepper, grilled
  • 3
  •  To Taste Salt & Pepper
  • 4
  •  As Needed Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 5
  •  As Needed Balsamic Vinegar
  • 6


    1. Peel away skin of the mushroom and remove stem
    2. Marinate in olive oil and season with salt and pepper
    3. Grill both sides for a total of 10 minutes
    4. Place portabella mushroom on a plate with slices of fresh mozzarella and grilled red peppers
    5. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar
    6. season with salt and pepper to taste
