This is the proper way to cook dry beans. Zane will have you cooking dry beans of all varieties.

As Needed Water (to cover beans by 6" for soaking)

Directions
- Soak beans overnight.
- Drain beans and rinse then place in pot.
- Cover beans with water and add aromatics.
- Simmer beans for 2 hours.
- Check and keep covered with water during the cooking.
- When beans are tender, drain them and remove aromatics.
- Dress in oil and store, covered in refrigerator.
