The basic steps on how to cook long grain rice such as jasmine or basmati. You will get perfect rice every time.


  • 1  Cup(s) Rice, long grain
  • 1
  • 1 ½  Cup(s) Water or Stock
  • 2
  • 1  As Needed Aromatics that you desire
  • 3


    1. Wash rice and place in the pot
    2. Add cooking liquid
    3. Bring to a boil
    4. Cover pot well
    5. Simmer for 20 minutes
    6. Uncover, serve or store
