  • 14  Pound(s) Turkey, bag removed, washed, pat dry

  • 2  Cup(s) Olive Oil
  • 2
  •  As Needed Lawry's Seasoning Salt (to Season entire turkey)

  • 2  Cup(s) Chicken Stock

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
    2. Rub 1 cup of olive oil all over turkey
    3. Season turkey liberally with Lawry's seasoning salt
    4. Take the neck bone and place on roasting pan that turkey will roast in
    5. Place turkey over neck bone
    6. Add olive oil and 1 cup of chicken stock to roasting pan
    7. roast in oven for 40 minutes
    8. Remove from oven and tilt pan to let juices run to one side, baste turkey with juices
    9. Place back in oven and check turkey after 25 minutes to baste again
    10. Cover turkey with aluminum foil to create a tent in the roasting pan
    11. roast for another 20 minutes then remove and baste again
    12. Add another cup of chicken stock to roasting pan
    13. Cover turkey up with foil again and roast for another 20 minutes
    14. Remove from oven and check temperature with an internal thermometer, the temperature should be at 165 degrees, check in a few different spots on the turkey to make sure it is evenly cooked
    15. Once it has reached 165 degrees the turkey is done
    16. Reserve all pan liquids for turkey gravy
