Description

This is not your Ice Cream Man's Sandwich. A Great Presentation to an American Classic. Three layers of Crispy Sweet Goodness with Fresh Fruit and Vanilla Ice Cream. What Could Be Better? Finish it off with some homemade Hot Fudge. Need I say more?


Ingredients

  • 5  Each Phyllo Sheets
  • 1
  • 1/4  Pound(s) Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2
  • ¼  Tea Spoon(s) Vanilla Extract
  • 3
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Sugar
  • 4
  • 8  Each Strawberries
  • 5
  • 1/3  Cup(s) Blueberries
  • 6
  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Mango, diced
  • 7
  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Pineapple, diced
  • 8
  • 24  Fluid ounce(s) Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 9
  • 1/3  Cup(s) Homemade Hot Fudge
  • 10
  • 1  As Needed Fresh Mint (garnish)
  • 11
  • 1  As Needed Whipped Cream
  • 12
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Confectionary Sugar

Directions

    1. Melt butter and add vanilla to butter
    2. Spray sheet pan with nonstick spray and top with parchment paper then spray again
    3. Lay out phyllo sheet, brush with butter then sprinkle with sugar
    4. Lay another sheet on top and repeat brushing butter & sprinkling sugar until you have 5 sheets stacked up
    5. Press each layer down to form a smooth finished sheet
    6. Bake in oven until golden brown
    7. Let cool then cut into desired sizes (you will need 3 pieces for each plated dessert)
    8. Using a squeeze bottle, make a design on a plate then place the first piece of phyllo on it
    9. Layer with fruit and ice cream then top with phyllo and repeat
    10. Dust with confectionary sugar
    11. Garnish with whipped cream and mint
