Description

Fried Idaho potatoes sauteed with mushrooms, sausage, shallots and garlic. A quick and delicious side dish for any meat or fish.


Ingredients

  • 8  Ounce(s) Weight Idaho Potatoes, cubed
  • 1
  • 3  Ounce(s) Weight Andouille Sausage, diced
  • 2
  • 1 1/2  Ounce(s) Weight Cremini Mushrooms, sliced
  • 3
  • 1  Ounce(s) Weight Garlic, Shallots, Parsley Mix, minced
  • 4
  •  As Needed Oil, for frying
  • 5
  •  As Needed Salt & Pepper
  • 6
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Butter
  • 7

Directions

    1. Fry potatoes in oil at 350 degrees for 2 minutes until golden brown
    2. Add butter to a saute pan on medium high heat
    3. Add mushrooms and sausage and saute, rendering out some fat from the sausage, about 2 - 3 minutes
    4. Season with salt and pepper
    5. Remove potatoes from oil and add to saute pan
    6. Add shallot garlic parsley mix
    7. saute for 30 - 45 seconds
    8. Serve and enjoy
