Make your own fresh mozzarella at home.


  • 10  Pound(s) Fresh Curd, cut into cubes

  •  As Needed Water

    1. Place curd in a large bowl
    2. Cover with hot water and let sit to temper for 5 - 10 minutes
    3. In a large pot, boil water and season with salt
    4. Remove curd from hot water and place into another large bowl
    5. Pour boiling water over curd and break up all the pieces
    6. Let sit in hot water for 2 minutes
    7. Remove curd from water using a spider or a slotted spoon
    8. Slowly pull pieces together and kneed with your hands to form one solid mass
    9. Once solid mass is formed, use the back of your hands and pick up curd
    10. Let curd pull itself down to stretch out
    11. Lay out plastic wrap on a flat surface
    12. Roll mozzarella into whatever form you prefer (watch video to see different forms)
    13. Serve or refrigerate
