Description

A twist on coleslaw, no mayonnaise is used so it's fat free and very low in calories. Delicious as a side or on taco's, pulled pork, or any sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 1  Each Head of Cabbage
  • 1
  • 1  Each Serrano Chili, thinly sliced
  • 2
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 3
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 4
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Onion, diced
  • 5
  • 3  Table Spoon(s) Cumin
  • 6
  •  As Needed Sea Salt
  • 7
  • 2  Each Lime, juiced
  • 8
  • 2  Tea Spoon(s) Black Pepper, freshly ground

Directions

    1. As the cabbage sits the vinegar will break down the cabbage and give it a limper consistency
    2. Place in a container and refrigerate
    3. Mix by hand until blended well
    4. Core and slice cabbage place in mixing bowl
    5. Add serrano chili rice wine vinegar cumin salt and pepper onion and lime juice
