Mofongo consists of deep fried plantains mashed and seasoned with garlic, butter, and fried pork skin. This Puerto Rician favorite is a great side dish for beef, chicken, or seafood. Mofongo is traditionally mashed with a wooden mortar and pestle.
- 2 Each Green Plantains
- 1 Each Fried Pork Skin, 3" x 3" piece
- 2 Table Spoon(s) Butter, melted
- 1 ½ Table Spoon(s) Garlic, minced
- 1 To Taste Salt
