Description

How to marinate and oven dry tomatoes. These delicious sweet oven dried tomatoes are great for dressings, chutney's and salads.


Ingredients

  • 3  Pound(s) Heirloom Tomatoes
  • 1
  • 3  Table Spoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 2
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Tarragon, chopped
  • 3
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Chervil, chopped
  • 4
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Chives, chopped
  • 5
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Sugar
  • 6
  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Salt, Kosher
  • 7
  • 1  Pinch Black Pepper
  • 8

Directions

    1. Wash and cut the tomatoes in equal size pieces
    2. Toss the tomatoes with the other ingredients
    3. Place the dressed tomatoes on a rack on a pan
    4. Roast the tomatoes at 325 degrees for 90 minutes
    5. Allow to cool and use in your favorite recipes
